About FullStride Tutoring

Welcome to FullStride, a private tutoring service that prepares your student to achieve their academic goals.

I am an Orton-Gillingham associate educator and special educator.

My career began as a ski coach, where I found my place motivating and supporting eager learners. As an educator, I support students with guidance and direction while clarifying their goals. I strive to foster academic curiosity and independence in my students, leading them to success in the regular classroom setting.

As a licensed teacher and Orton-Gillingham Associate Educator, I specialize in teaching students with learning disabilities, from elementary through high school. I continue to refine my teaching practice through continued professional development at the Stern Center for Language and Learning in Williston, Vermont.

My tutoring style is unique. I use a blend of coaching and educational techniques. I keep my practice fresh and up-to-date by continuing my professional education. I actively research teaching practices and seek innovative ideas, making learning a lifelong pursuit.

Serving students and their families as a member of their educational team is another component of my practice. I meet with each of my clients to build a plan and gain an understanding of your student's learning style, strengths, and challenges.

I am committed to helping your student reach their full potential. Contact me to set up your consultation appointment.

What Our Clients Say

Our son immediately connected with Kathy. To put it in his words, “Having to do tutoring is annoying, but Kathy is great, so it’s ok.” He has made steady progress in the first two months. She manages to be focused and strategic with lessons and still make them fun.

Karrie T.

Slowly and with steady determination Kathy & my student made a tremendous learning team that has enabled my child to go from tearful fear to being able to say about third grade, “I am kind of scared for next year, and encouraged because I can be brave.” My appreciation runs deep for Kathy Haskell and all the brightness she has brought into our lives as an “amazing person and an awesome teacher” (as my child puts it).

Jen H.

When I say “made learning possible” what I mean is that Kathy met my child where they were at. She developed instruction, routines, practice, and assessments and, most importantly, a relationship that maintained support while stretching my child to new learning. This learning partnership has made all the difference in the world to my child.
